Health Services

The Health Services Department provides services to promote the health and well being of our students and staff.  We believe early identification and intervention of health problems is the key to promoting a healthy learning environment.

The role of the school nurse within the program is to provide emergent care for injury and/or sudden illness, management of medication administration and implementation of Individual Health Care Plans for students with chronic and/or acute health conditions.  The school nurse provides health education to students, teachers, and parents to promote improvement or adaptation to their health status thereby allowing the student to receive the maximum benefit from the instructional program.
